Nicolaas Wilhelmus Coert
[1811 – 1853]
In 1811, 27th of July, Nicolaas
Wilhelmus Coert was born in Grissee (Soerabaja). In 1853, 21st of
March, he died in Batavia. He was one of the members of the Vrijmetselarij
(lodge) “De Ster in het Oosten’ in Batavia. He was also the 2nd
Clerk of the Counsel of Justice in Batavia (1837). He married ‘Jonkvrouw’ Maria
Elizabeth Goldman on the 18th of January in 1835 in Batavia. Maria
Elizabeth Goldman was born in Batavia on the 2nd of December 1805.
She died on the 15th of April in Besoeki in 1876. She was the
daughter of Wilhelmina Dorothea Coert [1777 –
1838] and
‘Jonkheer’ Johan Christiaan Goldman. Maria Elizabeth first husband was Arnold
Franco van IJsseldijk.
Wilhelmina Dorothea Coert [1836 – 1916]
She was born in Batavia on the 11th of June 1836 and died in
Batavia on the 7th of May 1916. In Tangerang (Batavia) she married Albertus Reiger on the 7th
of July 1870. He was born in Groningen (Holland) on the 11th of
October 1840. He was a Civil servant and died in Besoeki on the 9th
of August 1886. He was the son of Mr. Henricus and Wilhelmina Louisa de Jongh.
Johan Christiaan Willem Coert [1838 – 1907]
He was born on Batavia on the 17th of December 1838 (in another document was written that he was born
in 1843). He was a ‘vendumeester’
(auction) in Batavia. In 1907 on the 2nd of March he died in
Buitenzorg. He married in Tangarang on the 9th of October 1873 Maria
Wilhelmina Warnar (daughter of Gerrit Warnar and Maria Woesthoff). She was born
on the 20th of May in 1855. She died in Tjimahi on the 16th
of November 1922. Before the marriage Johan Jacob Coert was born. The natural
mother was Oey Toa Nio (Javanese / Chinese). She was the first wife of Johan
Christiaan Willem Coert.
Wilhelmina Coert [1888 – 1971]
Wilhemina was born in Batavia on the 26th of December 1888.
She died in The Hague (Holland) on the 4th
of Juni 1971. She married in Buitenzorg 1912 on the 20th of November
Louis Stephan Verheyen. He was born in Holwerd (Westdongeradeel) in 1886 on the
27th of October. He was ‘rubberplaater’ on Java. He died in Tjimahi
in 1944 on the 18th of December. He was the son of Willem Alphonse
Maria and Henriette Jeannette Marie Hubertine Wolters.
Henriette Hermine Coert [1893 – 1976]
Henriette was
born in Meester Cornelis on the 31st of October 1893. In Wageningen she died on the 10th of July
1976. In Buitenzorg on the 15th of February 1917 she married
Frederik Sebastiaan Abraham Braams. He was born in Buren on the 3rd
of May 1882. He was Administrator by a company in Penjindangan (Tjibadak,
Preanger Reg.). He died in Oosterbeek on the 8th of August 1940. He
was the son of Jean Theodore Adrien and Clasina Louisa van Woerden. His first
wife was Virginie Julie Hogenraad.
