Johann Heinrich Coert (Jan Hendrik) [1761 – 1801]

Johann Heinrich Coert (Jan Hendrik / Johannes Henricus) was born in Westcappeln in 1761 and died in Pijnacker (Holland) on the 9th of August in 1801. He became a Surgeon in Pijnacker (he studied in Delft). In 1798 he received a Golden Medal from the ‘Maatschappij tot Redding van Drenkelingen’. On the 14th of October 1781 he married with Helena Sibilla Davidson in Pijnacker. Helena was born in Doesburg and died in Pijnacker on the 28th of October 1801. On the 1st of 4th of January 1758 she was Baptized in Doesburg. They had 7 children. Helena Elisabeth (born on the 15th of June 1784 in Pijnacker), Jan Hendrik (born on the 29th of November 1789 in Pijnacker; he moved arround 1806 from Rotterdam to Eastern Indonesia), Anna Maria (born on the 25th of February 1792 in Pijnacker; she died very young), Hendrik Jan, Frederik, Jacob Hendrik and Gijsbertus.

Gijsbertus Coert [1796 – 1842]

Gijsbertus Coert was born on the 5th of July 1796 in Pijnacker and died on the 22nd of September 1842 in Arnhem. On the 4th of August 1830 he married with Aaltje Jonker in Arnhem. Aaltje Jonker was born on the 18th of January 1810 in Oudega (Friesland; Holland) and died 13th May 1877 in Rotterdam. They had three children Clasina Fredrica (born on the 8th of December 1830 in Arnhem and died on the 12th of October 1832), Clasina Fredrica (born on the 15th of December 1833 in Arnhem, died on the 25th of February 1905 in Rotterdam and married on the 14th of May 1856 in Rotterdam with Theodorus Jacobus Molenkamp) and Helena Sibilla (born on the 22nd of December 1836, died on the 5th of February 1918, married on the 3rd of June 1863 to Ludovicus Jacobus Rogier in Rotterdam and seven children). Ludovicus Jacobus Rogier was the son of Josephus Benedectus Rogier and Joanna Fonteyne). Gijsbertus last profession was the Army. (Source: archive Arnhem; death certificate 362).
