Charles
Arthur Coert [1845 – 1918]
In 1845, 15th of
February, Charles Arthur Coert was born in Samarang. He died in Blitar on the
10th of December 1918. He was an Adminstrator of the Sonogoenting
concern. On May the 27th 1876 he married Maria Lapré in Soerabaja.
She was born in Soerabaja on the 19th of November 1846 and died in
Blitar on the 21st of April 1907. They had five children: Cornelis
F., Jan F., Raymond, Dorien and Suzanne F. Charles Arthur Coert married a
second time. In Blitar on the 21st of September 1908 he married
Adriana Carolina van Thiel. She died on the 10th of November 1918.
Cornelis Floris Coert [1868 – 1952]
He was born in Soerabaja on the 23rd of
June 1868. He was the head of the engineering department by the Railway of the
State. In 1952 he died in Soerabaja. He married on the 21st of
October 1905 Maria Francisca Krampkamp in Soerabaja. She was born in Tandjong
(Amoentei) on the 5th of January 1872 and died in Malang on the 5th
of August 1926. They had one daughter Eugenia Engelina Victoria Louisa Coert.
She was adopted.
Eugenia Engelina Victoria Louisa Coert [1888 – ????]
She was born in Madioen on the 8th of
December 1888. There she married on the 12th of February 1910
Antonius Josephus Bernardus Kiwit.
Jan Ferdinand Coert [1872 – 1945]
Jan Ferdinand was born in Soerabaja on the 5th
of August 1872. He was a First class Engine-driver of the Railway of the State.
He died in Blitar in August 1945. He first married in Madioen on the 9th
of December 1903 Elvire Heldernisse. They divorced on the 18th of
September 1924. Elivire was born in Soerabaja on the 17th of
November 1886. They had two children: Guido Coert and Stella Coert (born in
Soerabaja on the 1st of June 1920). Jan Ferdinand then married on
the 18th of December 1924 Marie Jaqueline Plasman. She was born on
the 10th of December 1877.
Dorien Coert was born in Soerabaja on the
10th of September 1878 and died 8th April 1958. She
married to Sassen. They had four children. Nieke had one son and two daughters.
Eddie had two daughters.
Suzanne Florentina Coert [1883 – 1957]
She was born in Soerabaja on the 1st
of May 1883 and died in Amsterdam on the 2nd of January 1957. She
first married in Madioen on the 4th of January 1908 Gustaf Johannis
Walther. They divorced in Panaroekan on the 28th of April 1909. She
married a second time with Petrus Johannes Dagevos on the 28th of
February 1912. He was born in Kediri on the 24th of May 1871 and
died in Geroet on the 7th of September 1921. During this marriage
four children were born.
He was born in Bangil and was Station
Manager of the Railway. He had no children.
He was born in Jember and was a very small
person. He had no children.
He was born in
Soerabaja on the 5th of April 1914 and died in Canada. He married Nep “tante Reinep” Rijnenberg (engaged 26th
of January 1936; address Soembawastraat 28 in Soerabaja). Guido was a Captain
and Streersman on big ships and emigrated to Canada at the end of the 50-ties.
They had one son Hans Coert.
